The Business Development Representative (BDR) position is responsible for leveraging their abilities in addition to best in class outreach strategies including cold-calling, email, and social selling to ultimately build demand and schedule new business opportunities for the Enterprise Account Executives. The ideal candidate is high character, highly motivated and self-directed and thrives in a fast-paced work environment. OTE potential for this role is around $100,000 total compensation. Responsibilities Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Reach out to prospects via telephone, email, and social media to discover and qualify leads. Uncover needs, wants, and challenges of our prospective customers and offer to introduce them to a subject matter expert to consult on how to solve their most pressing business issues. Update and maintain activity logs and key information in the CRM program (Salesforce). Must be able to navigate organizational hierarchies and speak to leaders in IT, Operations, Fleet Management, Safety, and Finance. Contribute to our development of best practices and key findings to help refine communications and strategies. Collaborate and work closely with Account Executives to ensure a successful handover Skills & Abilities: Self-motivated, high energy, and dynamic sales and on-camera presence Driven personality with a track record for over-achieving Strong phone communication skills - able to understand different buying personas Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to be a resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues Ability to accept and implement coaching Minimum Qualifications Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience Bridgestone is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
